The main attraction of this national park isÐerdapska klisura,the longest and largest gorge in Europe, which was
created by the flow of Danube River. It’s 100 km long and some of the cliffs that surround the river are over 300 m high,
which makes the whole horizon breathtakingly beautiful. For thousands of years this gorge presented a challenge for
travelers, traders, warriors and messengers. They considered it a gate between two culturally and economically very
different parts of the world, the lower and middle Danube region. Because of it’s strategic value Ðerdap has a
nickname,Iron Gate.

Day by Day Itinerary

Depart by Fly Dubai at 09.05 am. Arrive Belgrade airport at 13.30 pm.
Meet and greet service on arrival followed by transfer to your selected
hotel. Rest of day is free at leisure where you can immerse yourself in
new experiences by exploring the city center on foot and grab a cup of
coffee which gives you a way to connect with the people who live.
Discover authentic local food dining experiences followed by peaceful
overnight at the hotel.

-August 22, 2018 - Wednesday
After breakfast, will start our tour by visiting Kalemegdan-the fortress and a beautiful park are places where the most
distant past can be seen. Today’s Belgrade started as a human settlement thousands of years ago here. You will hear
unusual and exciting story about Belgrade - the Crossroads of the Worlds. Kalemegdan offers a beautiful view at the
confluence of Sava and Danube rivers, New Belgrade and Zemun. After walking on Kalemegdan we’ll continue through
the Prince Michael (Knez Mihajlova) pedestrian street. Along our walk to the Republic Square we will see many beautiful
old buildings,including the monument to Prince Michael situated at the centre of Republic square , and buildings of
National Theatre and National Museum. We will also see Terazije, National Assembly, City Council (Old Court), Kneza
Miloša Street (with some scars from the recent conflicts still visible), luxurious residential quarter of Dedinje, Memorial
of Marshall Tito, Red Star soccer stadium. Visit to St Sava church, one of the largest religious objects in the whole world.
Our tour continues: Slavija Circus, King Milan St., …going to Old Town and passing by Orthodox Cathedral and the
Patriarchate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Princess Ljubica Residence and famous Question mark & the oldest
restaurant in the city, and the only one with such a strange name in the whole world
